What is up with the Yahoo email AD spam?
Posted by admin under Other - Yahoo! Mail
Traci T asked:
Can someone tell me why we now have ads on our email pages. This is worse than SPAM! I am already paying dearly for this Yahoo DSL via ATT and now they are putting AD SPAM on my email page. Is every one having this same problem?
I contacted yahoo and they said that this is to improve OUR service. They did not seem to care much if I was paying for this service or not. I have noticed that in beta the ad is on the right hand side but when I switched back to the old view it is on the top so it is not as bad. Also in Beta it will not let me open beta in firefox because it does not support it. But I can open it in old version of yahoo. So i am going to stay with the old version and not Beta.

I wish I knew. I’m paying for this also through ATT (formerly SBC) and now we have these ads. How can we get rid of them????
Get Firefox, and also adblock plus and filterset g and never see the ads again.
