How do I stop or block all the Bulk Email I receive?

BobKat Ranch asked:
I only get to check my yahoo account about every 1-2 weeks. When I log in, I have anywhere’s from 1000 to 3000 Bulk Emails. I know how to delete them all at once, but is there a way to block them so I can stop getting the repeaters.

You could add them into your block list. Just go to: Inbox (doen’t matter if you have mail or not), then go to options, then click on block addresses. Then just type in all the addresses you want to block. But you have a limit of 500 blocks you can have.
On your mail. Go to Options, bulk, check delate bulk without saving. check receieve message only on my contact list. I think all the answers you need will be found there. Just browse the bulk option.
sounds like you have a serious problem with spam – you can delete the BULK either autoamtically every 1-30 days or by clicking EMPTY
These articles will help understand where spam is coming from and help combat it
go to option tab very right on your yahoo id, clich it then go to block addresses then manualy write addresses,
But Dear friend there is no metter of Bulk Mail Bcos bulk mail does not count in ur account space, and they are atomaticaly deleat after on spacific interval
I have just read all the responses here and I know how much a pain this is too as far as SPAM goes. One reason I rarely use my email anymore. But anyhow, to elleviate the problem of SPAM, get a SPAM blocker program that you can run to detect who is sending you the information. Most times it comes from common sites you visited on a regular. Realize the information you enter is sent to a third or fourth party many a times without your knowledge because it is sold and many say they dont but that is B.S. Also, many a times when you download a program, be aware that as you download, most programs can be rewritten with melicious context that can be added without your consent (or contains a virus)–Always check for a certificate of authenticity, if none do not proceed forward.
To get back to e-mails on the Bulk problem, go the options menu and find Block Senders. You can block others by checking this option telling it you only want mail sent from respectable persons or those you know from your mail list. Also, for reference, Bulk mails can be deleted regularly by not opening them. Most content can accidently be reverrted as Junk(Bulk) by your friends due the fact that your program might not recognize them or that what you want not said is put in use as words contained in the subject lines. Outlook has the option of recognizing such words but this can be a meticulaour pain. I used it once or twice and it helped me to a small extent but I still on occassion got SPAM in my in-box anyhow. If you have any program providers that are reputable, like say an Outlook account through your Windows program, and is linked with your ISP provider, go to their mail webservice page and open from there. As soon as you do so, check all that apply as SPAM and have them investigated. Most times your ISP carrier will compile this information to be given to the FBI if they see a repeat in program language usage. The other thing I want to mention is the more email you send, the more SPAM that comes back too. Stop your e-mail usage after 10 mins. What this often does it diverts the sender from tossing email into your box. The ISP will watch that you have closed it out. The e-mail will stop after this process is performed but not all will stay elleviated forever. The more accounts an outside party discovers the worse the SPAM gets. If you want toss you PC now by taking only the programs you know you use as backup, then burn the drive and go out and get a new one. Be sure when you do to have enough ample storage as with any SPAM programs this can **** up your memory without proper knowhow. Good luck on your problem and I hope I helped some. Take care!
You just need to go through your email settings. To do that and to stop unwanted email, do the following:
Log into your Email, go to Options (upper right hand side). Go through all your settings and don’t forget to save them too.
When you get to Block Address, type in spammer.com, this will stop all Spam that has been reported to Yahoo from ever entering your email.
When you get to Bulk Mail, option to automatically delete all Bulk mail.
Make sure your Spam Guard is turned On.
If you get email from someone you don’t know, NEVER open it (it may contain viruses) and report it as SPAM. This will automatically block it from your email account.
This should slow down the Junk Mail considerably.
Good Luck!
