Who are the random people whose names appear in spam email messages?
Posted by admin under Other - Computers
Otis T asked:
Are they real people whose email accounts have been taken over by viruses that send out spam, or are they fake accounts that spam producers use to make their messages look like they’re from real people, or is something else going on?
Billy, you’re silly.

i think so. either that or people get paid to let people use their name. maybe they are made up names. well now i’m confused. that’s a good question though.
you answered your own question.
are they fake accounts that spam producers use to make their messages look like they’re from real people.
But whats in a name a rose by any other name would smell as sweet!
