how can I stop important email from going into spam box?

I am an Ebay Power Seller, and I use Paypal too. Most of my Ebay sales and Paypal payment notifications go into my spam box. Is there any way to make sure they get into my INBOX? I have tried clicking this is not spam on each email. That is supposed to train the filter to redirect the emails back to the inbox but that does not work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, James.
