I received an spam email w/the same yahoo id/email addy as mine. How can this be?

I know about the tricks spammers use to create a yahoo ID/email address to look like someone else’s, but this email address looks exactly like mine. I don’t want to open it because I’m concerned it might have a virus. Any suggestions on what I can do about this situation? Thanks in advance!
