How do I mark an incoming email as spam in hotmail?

Posted by admin under Other - Computers

I just tested the ‘junk’ function by sending myself an email to hotmail and marking it ‘junk’ then sent another one and it wasn’t blocked.
So how do i do it?
Thanks in advance!

How and where to go to send Bulk e-mail?

Posted by admin under Other - Computers

My server will not send Bulk e-mail. Neither will either of my web based accounts (yahoo, excite). I need to send to an association I belong to that has about 600 members. Where can I go for this kind of service?

Sending a bulk email – will it get flagged as spam?

Posted by admin under Other - Computers

This is a work related question – we regularly send bulk emails to opt-in clients, but our web guy that normally handles this is out today. If I try to send an email to a huge list of people (in the double-digit thousands) is it going to go through? I have no special program to do this – just Microsoft Outlook. Any advice would be very helpful. We have some super exciting news about our company and want to spread the word!
It’s NOT SPAM!!!! Like I said – these are opt-in clients, meaning they all agreed/signed up to get emails from us.

Thanks

My Outgoing emails are placed in Spam or Bulk folders on the receiving end?

Posted by admin under Other - Computers

Recently some of my personal emails are landing in peoples spam or bulk folders, and getting worse. It doesn’t seem yo matter who the ISP or provider is. Started with Yahoo–tagged me as a marketing company. I have my own domain .us Contacted my domain server—they suggested I delete the wildcard in my forwarding section. Defeats the purpose of a domain if I do that, and won’t solve the problem–it is OUTGOING mail. My ISP said they had no idea and suggested the wildcard issue too. My mail is sent OUT through ISP and replies to my domain. It was suggested this could be the problem. If so what’s the point of owning a domain? Only solution would be to set up my own server or pay the domain to use theirs–if that’s the issue.

Can anyone help? Don’t know if people get my mail–if I send a follow-up it just goes to the same place. What is happening? Used to work fine, haven’t changed any settings.

Please help—I’m getting desparate and not a computer person!

Who are the random people whose names appear in spam email messages?

Posted by admin under Other - Computers

Otis T asked:

Are they real people whose email accounts have been taken over by viruses that send out spam, or are they fake accounts that spam producers use to make their messages look like they’re from real people, or is something else going on?
Billy, you’re silly.

Formatting help for a email marketing campaign?

Michael A asked:

I’m about to throw my computer through my window. Any of you certified nerds that are able to help will be saving me from explaining that to my wife. I am trying to send out some brochures to clients through a bulk emailer. Our brochures are saved as either bitmap or jpeg. If I email the bitmap it doesn’t show up at all and if I send the jpeg the text is so blurry that you can’t read it. I am able to copy and paste text, but not the graphics so I have to save it as a picture and then insert an image into the body. What am I doing wrong? What format could I save it in and get it to work?
If it is pdf how would I get it into the body of the text. I can’t copy and paste pdf and it won’t insert it as an image. At least I don’t know how. Thanks for your response.
