Bulk email

Obviously, I didn’t send the spam. How did they use my email address as the sender address? Kinda freaky!

I received this email from someone I have never heard of and I know it is either a virus or spam but it wont let me delete it.

I have my spam blocker on and I am still getting a lot of ( like 30 or 40 a day) junk emails in my bulk folder that are dated for the next day or the day after that. How can I stop this and why am I getting them?

friends and clients have sent me email. they have never been marked as spam but end up in my bulk. i’ve missed several important emails because i don’t go through page after page of bulk emails. for example, i receive an email from ‘joe’ in my inbox where it should be, then next week it could end up in bulk. why does that happen? how do i prevent it?

can outlook or thunderbird send mass emails to individual recipients? How?

I am not willing to read any mail from people I don’t know in case of viruses – I am still basically wary of computers and have still to find my way.
I find it annoying when people try to contact me in this manner and the time it takes me to delete all messages.
Call me old fashioned but I believe in protocol.

Sometimes there are over 164 in a couple of hours. I can’t stand it.

I am getting 20 to 30 bulk emails every day. I do not respond to any of them or want to. I just want them to stop.
